ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES AT FORBES STREET, WESTERN DISTRICT

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on 7 April 2025 and from 10.00 am on 16 April 2025 to 4.00 pm on 30 April 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones:

From 7.00 am to 7.00 pm

(a) The southern kerbside lane of Forbes Street from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Smithfield to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction.

24 hours daily

(b) The northern kerbside lane of Forbes Street from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Smithfield to a point about 85 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:—

(a) Picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) Loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
