Introduction

Intelligent Road Network Packages (IRNP) provide three IRNP datasets (in Geographic Information System (GIS) format) opened up at DATA.GOV.HK for development of intelligent transport system, fleet management system, car navigation system and etc. by the public. These datasets are "Road Network", "Traffic Aids Drawings" and "Traffic Flow Census".

1. "Road Network" - a road network which includes traffic directions, turning restrictions at road junctions, stopping restrictions and other road traffic data;
2. "Traffic Aids Drawings" - traffic signs and traffic signals of the digitized Traffic Aids Drawings. It also contains road markings and other traffic aids data as backdrop; and
3. "Traffic Flow Census" - traffic flow data of Annual Traffic Census.

Data Ownership
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region remains the owner of the IRNP at all times.
