Ex-gratia Payment Scheme for Phasing Out Euro IV Diesel Commercial Vehicles
To continuously improve roadside air quality, the Government has launched an incentive-cum-regulatory programme to phase out some 40,000 Euro IV diesel commercial vehicles (DCVs). Eligible registered owners of Euro IV DCVs can apply for ex-gratia payment from 19 October 2020 onwards.

Starting from 20 November 2023, applicants should use the new versions of the application form (i.e. TD605B(11/2023) or later version) when submitting applications for the ex-gratia payment. Applications submitted using the form older than version mentioned above will not be processed and the applicants will be required to resubmit their applications using the new versions of the application form (i.e. TD605B(11/2023) or later version).
