ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN SAI YING PUN, WESTERN DISTRICT
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 March 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily: —
(a) The southern kerbside lane of Bonham Road from its junction with Park Road to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
(b) The northern kerbside lane of Park Road eastbound from its junction with Bonham Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction;
(c) The northern kerbside lane of High Street from its junction with Centre Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
(d) The northern kerbside lane of High Street from its junction with Centre Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
(e) The northern kerbside lane of Des Voeux Road West from its junction with Wilmer Street to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction;
(f) The western kerbside lane of Wilmer Street from its junction with Des Voeux Road West to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
(g) The section of Queen's Road West from its junction with Eastern Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(h) The eastern kerbside lane of Eastern Street from its junction with Queen's Road West to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
(i) The eastern kerbside lane of Eastern Street between Queen's Road West and Hospital Road;
(j) The northern kerbside lane of Hospital Road from its junction with Eastern Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
(k) The southern kerbside lane of Breezy Path from its junction with Park Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(l) The eastern kerbside lane of Western Street from its junction with Bonham Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction; and
(m) The northern kerbside lane of Bonham Road from its junction with Western Street to a point about 85 metres east of the same junction.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: —
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
