Road Traffic Ordinance (Chapter 374)

Temporary Speed Limit on Castle Peak Road – Ting Kau, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 2.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. daily during the period from 28 February to 28 March 2025, the section of Castle Peak Road – Ting Kau westbound from a point about 70 meters west of its junction with Yau Lai Road to a point about 180 meters east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
