ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON CHUI TIN STREET, SHA TIN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 February 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. The eastern kerbside lane of Chui Tin Street southbound from a point about 45 metres north of its junction with the road leading to the public car park on Chui Tin Street near Che Kung Temple eastbound to the same junction;
    2. The northern kerbside lane of the road leading to the public car park on Chui Tin Street near Che Kung Temple eastbound from its junction with Chui Tin Street to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
    3. The southern kerbside lane of the road leading to the public car park on Chui Tin Street near Che Kung Temple westbound from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Chui Tin Street to the same junction; and
    4. The eastern kerbside lane of Chui Tin Street southbound from its junction with the road leading to the public car park on Chui Tin Street near Che Kung Temple westbound to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
