Road Traffic Ordinance (Chapter 374)

Temporary Speed Limit on Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 8 February 2025 to 6.00 p.m. on 30 June 2027, the section of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung eastbound from a point about 185 meters west of its junction with Kin Chuen Street to a point about 240 meters east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
