Traffic Notices

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.01 a.m. on 22 January 2025 to 0.01 a.m. on 21 July 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. the section of San Wan Road from a point about 26 metres west of its junction with Jockey Club Road and Lok Yip Road to the same junction;
2. the section of Lok Yip Road from a point of about 20 metres east of its junction with Jockey Club Road and San Wan Road to the same junction;
3. the section of Jockey Club Road northbound from a point of about 380 metres south of its junction with San Wan Road and Lok Yip Road to the same junction; and
4. the section of Jockey Club Road southbound from a point of about 345 metres south of its junction with San Wan Road and Lok Yip Road to the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
