ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)

Restricted Zones in Kwun Tong

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 10 January 2025, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

(a) the western kerbside lane of Lin Tak Road from a point about 120 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road to Hong Wah Court to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(b) the northern kerbside lane of Lin Tak Road from a point about 45 metres east of its junction with Pik Wan Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;

(c) the western kerbside lane of Kai Tin Road from a point about 60 metres south of its junction with Tak Tin Street to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction;

(d) the southern kerbside lane of Tak Tin Street from its junction with On Tin Street to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;

(e) the western kerbside lane of On Tin Street from its junction with Tak Tin Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction;

(f) the western kerbside lane of On Tin Street from a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Ping Tin Street to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction;

(g) the eastern kerbside lane of On Tin Street between Ping Tin Street and Tak Tin Street;

(h) the northern kerbside lane of Ping Tin Street from its junction with On Tin Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;

(i) the both kerbside lanes of the ingress of Lam Tin Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 45 metres north of the same junction;

(j) the western kerbside lane of the first egress of Lam Tin Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 125 metres north of the same junction;

(k) the eastern kerbside lane of the first egress of Lam Tin Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 70 metres north of the same junction;

(l) the eastern kerbside lane of the first egress of Lam Tin Station Public Transport Interchange from a point about 95 metres north of its junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 110 metres north of the same junction;

(m) the western kerbside lane of the fifth westernmost bay of Lam Tin Station Public Transport Interchange;

(n) the kerbside lane of the south section between the first westernmost bay and the fifth westernmost bay of Lam Tin Station Public Transport Interchange;

(o) the western kerbside lane of Kai Tin Road from a point about 155 metres south of its junction with Tak Tin Street to a point about 325 metres south of the same junction;

(p) the western kerbside lane of On Tin Street from its junction with the unnamed access road of Ping Tin Public Transport Interchange to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(q) the section of On Tin Street from a point about 35 metres east of its junction with the unnamed access road to Ping Tin Estate to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;

(r) the western kerbside lane of Kai Tin Road from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Sceneway Road to a point about 55 metres north of the same junction;

(s) the western kerbside lane of Pik Wan Road from a point about 70 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road to Hong Nga Court to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;

(t) the section of Pik Wan Road from a point about 60 metres east of its junction with the unnamed access road to Kwong Tin Shopping Centre to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction;

(u) the northern kerbside lane of Pik Wan Road from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with the unnamed access road of Lam Tin (Kwong Tin Estate) Bus Terminus to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;

(v) the section of Pik Wan Road from its junction with O King Road to a point about 95 metres north of the same junction;

(w) the eastern kerbside lane of Pik Wan Road from its junction with O King Road to a point about 22 metres south of the same junction; and

(x) the section of O King Road from its junction with Pik Wan Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
