ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Kent Road, True Light Lane and Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 4.00 pm on 30 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(i) the western kerbside lane of Kent Road from its junction with True Light Lane to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
(ii) the section of Kent Road between True Light Lane and Suffolk Road;
(iii) the section of True Light Lane from its junction with Kent Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
(iv) the northern kerbside lane of Suffolk Road from its junction with Kent Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction; and
(v) the southern kerbside lane of Suffolk Road from its junction with To Fuk Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
