Traffic Notices
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 am on 2 January 2025 to 6.00 pm on 31 May 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(i) The eastern kerbside lane of Wang Chiu Road from a point about 125 metres north of its junction with Kai Yip Road to a point about 215 metres north of the same junction; and
(ii) The western kerbside lane of Wang Chiu Road from a point about 90 metres north of its junction with Kai Yip Road to a point about 190 metres north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
