Traffic Notices

RESTRICTED ZONES ON HING FU STREET, HING KWAI STREET,
YAN PO ROAD, TONG HANG ROAD AND TSZ TIN ROAD, TUEN MUN


    In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 20 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

  1. the northern kerbside lane of Hing Fu Street eastbound from its junction with Hing Kwai Street to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;
  2. the southern kerbside lane of Hing Fu Street westbound from its junction with Hing Kwai Street to a point about 100 metres west of the same junction;
  3. the roundabout of Hing Fu Street;
  4. the western kerbside lane of Hing Kwai Street northbound from its junction with Tsun Wen Road to a point about 155 metres north of its junction with Hing Fu Street;
  5. the eastern kerbside lane of Hing Kwai Street southbound from a point about 60 metres north of its junction with Yan Po Road to a point about 170 metres south of the same junction;
  6. the western kerbside lane of Hing Kwai Street northbound from a point about 120 metres north of its junction with Yan Po Road to a point about 170 metres north of the same junction;
  7. the western kerbside lane of Hing Kwai Street northbound from its junction with the roundabout to a point about 130 metres east of the same junction;
  8. the eastern kerbside lane of Hing Kwai Street southbound from its junction with the roundabout to a point about 140 metres east of the same junction;
  9. the northern kerbside lane of Yan Po Road eastbound from its junction with Hing Kwai Street to a point about 180 metres east of the same junction;
  10. the southern kerbside lane of Yan Po Road westbound from its junction with Hing Kwai Street to a point about 390 metres east of the same junction;
  11. the northern kerbside lane of Yan Po Road eastbound from a point about 130 metres east of its junction with Tong Hang Road to a point about 265 metres east of the same junction;
  12. the section of Tong Hang Road from its junction with Yan Po Road to a point about 50 metres north of the same junction;
  13. the northern kerbside lane of Tsz Tin Road eastbound from a point about 95 metres west of its junction with Tsing Lun Road to a point about 215 metres west of the same junction;
  14. the southern kerbside lane of Yan Po Road westbound from its junction with Tsz Tin Road to a point about 45 metres west of the same junction; and
  15. the western kerbside lane of Tsz Tin Road westbound from its junction with Yan Po Road to its junction with Tsz Lun Road.

    Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

    The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

    At the same time, the restricted zones gazetted in G.N. No. 4991 on 14 July 2017, G.N. No. 6286 on 30 October 2020, G.N. No. 322 on 22 January 2021, G.N. No. 7400 on 23 December 2022 and G.N. No. 364 on 19 January 2024 will be rescinded.
