ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON SIU LUN STREET
AND TUEN MUN HEUNG SZE WUI ROAD, TUEN MUN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 20 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
- the southern kerbside lane of Siu Lun Street westbound from its junction with Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction; and
- the eastern kerbside lane of Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road southbound from its junction with Siu Lun Street to a point about 85 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the restricted zone gazette on 4 March 2022 under G.N. No. 1137 will be rescinded.
