ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Lei Yue Mun Road and Ko Chiu Road, Yau Tong


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 20 December 2024, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones
24 hours daily:-


(a)    The western kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road northbound from a point about 35 metres north of its northern junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;

(b)    The eastern kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road southbound from its northern junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;

(c)    The eastern kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road southbound from its northern junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;

(d)    The northern kerbside lane of Ko Chiu Road eastbound from its northern junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 60 metres east of the same junction; and

(e)    The southern kerbside lane of Ko Chiu Road westbound from its northern junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
