ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN SIU HONG STATION SOUTH PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE, TUEN MUN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 20 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
- The ramp between Castle Peak Road – San Hui and Siu Hong Station South Public Transport Interchange;
- The kerbside of the roundabout at Siu Hong Station South Public Transport Interchange; and
- All kerbsides of the passenger loading and unloading bays at Siu Hong Station South Public Transport Interchange (except the laybys and the kerbsides of the two passenger loading and unloading bays in the middle).
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the restricted zones gazetted on 30 November 2007 under G.N. No. 7857 will be rescinded.
