ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Tai Yau Street and Pat Tat Street, San Po Kong


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 29 November 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily: -


(a)    the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Yau Street from its junction with Pat Tat Street to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;

(b)    the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Yau Street from its junction with Pat Tat Street to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction; and

(c)    the section of Pat Tat Street from its junction with Tai Yau Street to a point about 35 metres east of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
