Traffic Notices

    In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 29 November 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. both kerbside lanes of Hong Po Road from a point about 45 metres west of its junction with an unnamed road leading to Yan Tin Estate to its junction with Lam Tei Interchange;
2. the western kerbside lane of an unnamed road north of Yan Tin Estate connecting Hong Po Road from its junction with Hong Po Road, to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
3. the eastern kerbside lane of an unnamed road north of Yan Tin Estate connecting Hong Po Road from its junction with Hong Po Road, to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
4. both kerbside lanes of Tsing Lun Road from its junction with Lam Tei Interchange to its junction with Siu Hong Road, including bus laybys;
5. the northern kerbside lane of Siu Hong Road from its junction with Tsing Lun Road to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
6. the northern kerbside lane of Tsz Tin Road eastbound from a point of its junction with Tsing Lun Road northbound about 20 metres west of the same junction;
7. the southern kerbside lane of Tsz Tin Road westbound from a point of its junction with Tsing Lun Road northbound about 15 metres west of the same junction;
8. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Lun Road northbound from a point of its junction with Tsz Tin Road eastbound about 15 metres north of the same junction; and
9. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Lun Road northbound from a point of its junction with Tsz Tin Road westbound about 20 metres south of the same junction.

    Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
2. loading or unloading goods.

    The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

    At the same time, the restricted zones gazetted on 5 October 2018 under G.N. No. 7458 and on 18 June 2021 under G.N. No. 3711 will be rescinded.
