ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON TSUN WEN ROAD AND LEUNG TAK STREET, TUEN MUN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 29 November 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
- the western kerbside lane of Tsun Wen Road from a point about 140 metres north of its junction with Leung Wan Street to a point about 175 metres north of the same junction; and
- the southern kerbside lane of Leung Tak Street from its junction with Tsun Wen Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the restricted zones gazetted on 8 November 2019 under G.N. No. 6925 will be rescinded.
