In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 27(1) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 a.m. on 31 October 2024, the following road sections of Sha Ho Road, Sha Tau Kok will be closed to all vehicles 24 hours daily, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport:

1. The northbound carriageway of Sha Ho Road from a point about 50 metres north of its junction with Shan Tsui Village Road and Sha Tau Kok Road - Shek Chung Au to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region boundary; and
2. The southbound carriageway of Sha Ho Road from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region boundary to a point about 50 meters north of its junction with Shan Tsui Village Road and Sha Tau Kok Road - Shek Chung Au.

          The extent of the closed roads will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

          At the same time, the existing closed road area on the northbound and southbound carriageway of Sha Ho Road as gazetted on 9 July 2004 under G.N. 4423 will be rescinded.
