ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones In Tai Po
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 2 September 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

- the western kerbside lane of the unnamed access road leading to Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Sai Sha Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of the unnamed access road leading to Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Sai Sha Road to a point about 65 metres north of the same junction;
- the southern kerbside lane of the exit road of Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange from its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of unnamed access road leading to Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange from its junction with the exit road of Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
- the section of the entrance road leading to Nai Chung Carpark from its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of the exit road of Nai Chung Carpark from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Nai Chung Public Transport Interchange to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of about 5 metres of the access road connecting the exit road of Nai Chung Carpark and the entrance road leading to Nai Chung Carpark;
- the western kerbside lane of the northbound carriageway of Sai Sha Road from a point about 140 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Tai Tung Wo Liu to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction;
- the section of the unnamed access road leading to Tai Tung Wo Liu from its junction with Sai Sha Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of the southbound carriageway of Sai Sha Road from a point about 35 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road leading to Tai Tung to a point about 130 metres north of the same junction; and
- the section of the unnamed access road leading to Tai Tung from its junction with Sai Sha Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
