ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones on Ting Lai Road, Tai Po

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 July 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones during the periods as specified:-

        (I)     24 hours daily (except public holidays):


the northern kerbside lane of Ting Lai Road from a point about 120 metres west of its junction with Chung Nga Road to a point about 125 metres west of the same junction.

(II)    From 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily

the northern kerbside lane of Ting Lai Road from a point about 65 metres east of its junction with San Wai Tsai Road eastbound lane to a point about 75 metres east of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
