ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones In Tai Po

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 21 June 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the western kerbside lane of Tat Wan Road northbound from a point about 30 metres south of its junction with the section of the slip road leading from Tolo Highway westbound to Tat Wan Road to a point about 5 metres north of the same junction;
    2. the eastern kerbside lane of Tat Wan Road southbound from a point about 30 metres south of its junction with the section of the slip road leading from Tolo Highway westbound to Tat Wan Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;
    3. the section of the slip road leading from Tolo Highway westbound to Tat Wan Road from its junction with Tat Wan Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
    4. the eastern kerbside lane of Tat Wan Road southbound from a point about 30 metres south of its junction with the section of the slip road leading from Tat Wan Road southbound to Tolo Highway to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction; and
    5. the section of the slip road leading from Tat Wan Road southbound to Tolo Highway from its junction with Tat Wan Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
