ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones In Tai Po

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 31 May 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the section of Dai Shun Street from its western junction with Dai Fu Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
    2. the section of Dai Wang Street from its junction with Dai Fu Street to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;
    3. the western kerbside lane of Dai Fu Street from a point about 90 metres north of its junction with Dai Wang Street to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction; and
    4. the eastern kerbside lane of Dai Fu Street from a point about 90 metres north of its junction with Dai Wang Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
