In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 20 March 2024 to 31 January 2026, Choi Wing Lane will be temporarily designated as prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length 24 hours daily.

        Drivers of all motor vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles into the temporary prohibited zone.

        The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

        At the same time, the existing prohibited zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
