ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on
Lung Sum Avenue and San Shing Avenue, Sheung Shui
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10 a.m. on 28 July 2023, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the western kerbside lane of Lung Sum Avenue from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with San Shing Avenue to the same junction; and
(b) the section of San Shing Avenue from its junction with Lung Sum Avenue to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
