TRAFFIC ADVICE

Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Kwun Tong

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate construction works, with effect from 1.00 am on 31 March 2020, the following traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Kwun Tong:-

I.   Road Conversion

The one-way traffic of Yan Yue Wai between Tung Yuen Street and Shung Shun Street will be permanently converted into two-way traffic.

II.   Transport Arrangements

a)  The existing stops for GMB Route No. 24 and special departure of GMB Route No. 24 on Tung Yuen Street (near Sam Ka Tsuen Ferry Pier) will be permanently relocated to Yan Yue Wai (southbound) near Ajisen Group Tower.

b)  GMB Route No. 24 (except departures between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm) and special departure of GMB Route No. 24 will be diverted via Yan Yue Wai (southbound), and Shung Shun Street (eastbound) and then resume their original routeing.

c)  Lam Tin bound of GMB Route No. 24 (departures between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm) would be diverted via Yan Yue Wai (southbound) and Shung Shun Street (eastbound) and then resume its original routeing. Sam Ka Tsuen bound of GMB Route No. 24 (departures between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm) would be diverted via Yan Yue Wai (northbound), Tung Yuen Street (northbound), Ko Fai Road (eastbound), Shung Tak Wai (southbound), Tung Yuen Street (southbound) and Yan Yue Wai (southbound).

d)  Tsim Sha Tsui bound of KMB Route No. 14X will be diverted via Tung Yuen Street (southbound), Yan Yue Wai (southbound), and then resume its original routeing. Yau Tong bound of KMB Route No. 14X will be diverted via Shung Shun Street (westbound), Yan Yue Wai (northbound), Tung Yuen Street (northbound), Ko Fai Road (eastbound) and Shung Tak Wai.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
