TRAFFIC ADVICE

Service rationalization of Hong Kong Island GMB Route Nos. 20
(Sai Wan Ho (Grand Promenade) Public Transport Terminus – Chai Wan Industrial City) (Circular)
and 20M (Hing Man Estate – Chai Wan Industrial City)

        Members of the public are advised that the services of Hong Kong Island GMB Route Nos. 20 (Sai Wan Ho (Grand Promenade) Public Transport Terminus – Chai Wan Industrial City) (Circular) and 20M (Hing Man Estate – Chai Wan Industrial City) will be reorganised with effect from 4 November 2019 (Monday). Details are as follows:

(i)  to convert Route No. 20M into a circular service (Hing Man Estate – Chai Wan Industrial City) (Circular);

(ii)  to truncate Route Nos. 20 and 20M via Fung Yip Street in lieu of the section of Sheung On Street between Fung Yip Street and Sheung Ping Street, Sheung Ping Street, Wing Tai Road, Ka Yip Street and the section of Sheung On Street between Ka Yip Street and Fung Yip Street daily (except 2 morning departures from Mondays and Fridays).  Passengers can make use of the nearby alternative stopping point on No. 21 Fung Yip Street outside Kailey Industrial Centre; and

(iii)  to operate 2 morning departures each at 8.00 a.m. and 8.15 a.m. of Route Nos. 20 and 20M (from Sai Wan Ho/ Hing Man Estate) observing Chai Wan Industrial City from Mondays and Fridays.

        Notices will be displayed by the GMB operator at GMB termini, en-route stops and inside vehicle compartments to inform passengers of the above arrangements in advance.
