Service improvement of KMB Route Nos. 290 and 290X
Members of the public are advised that to better suit the need of passengers, the following service improvement measures of KMB Route Nos. 290 and 290X will be implemented with effect from 22 December 2018 as follows:
Frequency enhancements of KMB Route 290X
The frequency of KMB Route 290X will be enhanced as stipulated in the timetable below:

Route diversion of KMB Route 290X
The Tseung Kwan O bound journey of KMB Route 290X departing from Tsuen Wan West Station at 6.30 a.m. and 7.00 a.m. between Mondays and Fridays (except Public Holidays) will be diverted via Wan Po Road, Pak Shing Kok Road, roundabout, Pak Shing Kok Road, Wan Po Road and Wan O Road before resuming its normal routeing. At the same time, an additional enroute stop will be provided on Pak Shing Kok Road outside Fire and Ambulance Services Academy.
Extension of operating hour of KMB Route 290
The operating hours of KMB Route 290 will be extended. The first departure of Tsuen Wan bound service between Mondays and Fridays (except Public Holidays) will be advanced to 5.10 a.m..
KMB will display notices inside the vehicles and all relevant bus stops to inform passengers of the above arrangements.
