Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements
for Fire and Ambulance Services Academy Open Day
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the Fire and Ambulance Services Academy Open Day, the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on 10 April 2016 (Sunday).
(A) Road Closure
From 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., the section of Pak Shing Kok Road north of the roundabout near the south gate of Fire and Ambulance Services Academy will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic (except emergency vehicles, franchised buses, and vehicles heading for Fire and Ambulance Services Academy).
(B) Public Transport Service Arrangements
NWFB Route No. X797 (Tiu Keng Leng Station – Pak Shing Kok) will operate to cope with the passenger demand during the event. Details of the service are as below:
(i) Bus Stops
1. Tiu Keng Leng Station Public Transport Interchange
2. Pak Shing Kok Road near Fire and Ambulance Services Academy
(ii) Operating Hours
From Tiu Keng Leng Station: 9.20 a.m. – 4.40 p.m.
From Pak Shing Kok: 10.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
The operating hours may be adjusted subject to passenger demand.
(iii) Fare

(C) Attention and Appeal
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Actual implementation of the road closure and traffic control will be made by the Police at the time depending on conditions in the areas. Any vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct of the special traffic arrangements might be towed away by the Police without prior notice.
NWFB will display notices at the bus stops to advise passengers of the arrangements of the above special bus service. Visitors to Fire and Ambulance Services Academy are advised to use public transport services as far as possible.
