Service Amalgamation of Kowloon Motor Bus Route Nos. 6 and 6A 

         Members of the public are advised that the Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) Route Nos. 6 and 6A will be merged with effect from 17 July 2011 (Annex).

         After service amalgamation, the terminating point of KMB Route No.6 will be changed from the existing Mei Foo Bus Terminus to the Lai Chi Kok Bus Terminus with adjustments to existing service timetable.  At the same time, the service of KMB Route No. 6A will be ceased. Affected passengers are advised to use the new bus stop at Cheung Sha Wan Road outside CLP Power Station (for journeys to Star Ferry) and the existing bus stop at Lai Chi Kok Road outside Mei Foo Plaza (for journeys to Lai Chi Kok).  Special departures of KMB Route No.6 will also be operated with enroute stop at Mei Foo Bus Terminus for journeys to Star Ferry after service amalgamation. 

         Notices will be put up by public transport operators at stops and inside vehicles to advise passengers of the above arrangements.  For service details and bus stop locations of the KMB Route No. 6 after service amalgamation, please visit our Transport Department Website (http://www.td.gov.hk/) or KMB website(www.kmb.com.hk).
