Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Mong Tsai Road and Sai Kung Man Yee Road, Sai Kung

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate an event, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented:

A. Road Closure

The section of Tai Mong Tsai Road westbound between Sai Kung Man Yee Road and Pak Tam Chung Physically Handicapped and Able-bodied Site, and the section of Sai Kung Man Yee Road from its junction with Tai Mong Tsai Road to a point about 5.5 kilometres south of the same junction, will be intermittently closed from 8.30 am to 10.45 am on 8 February 2025.

B. Temporary Suspension of Parking Spaces

18 metered parking spaces (nos. 28723A, 28723B, 28724A, 28724B, 28725A, 28725B, 28726A, 28726B, 28727A, 28727B, 28728A, 28728B, 28729A, 28729B, 28730A, 28730B, 28731A and 28731B), two accessible parking spaces, 10 motorcycle parking spaces and 41 coach parking spaces at Pak Tam Chung Car Park will be temporarily suspended from 11.00 pm on 7 February 2025 to 1.00 pm on 8 February 2025.

C. Public Transport Arrangement

The terminating point of New Territories Green Minibus (GMB) Route No. 9A (Pak Tam Chung – The East Dam, High Island Reservoir) at the East Dam, High Island Reservoir will be relocated to Sai Kung Man Yee Road at a point about 3.3 kilometres south of its junction with Sai Kung Sai Wan Road between 9.30 am to 10.45 am on 8 February 2025. The service frequency of the affected GMB route may be subject to temporary adjustment according to actual traffic conditions.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Actual implementation of the road closure and traffic control will be made by the Police at the time depending on conditions in the areas.
