ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON PUI SHING ROAD, NGAN O ROAD, MING SHING STREET
AND HANG HAU STATION PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE, TSEUNG KWAN O
AND HANG HAU STATION PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE, TSEUNG KWAN O
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation (14)(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 11:00 a.m. on 28 March 2025, the following road sections in Tseung Kwan O will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the northern kerbside lane of Ngan O Road from the junction of Ngan O Road and Pui Shing Road to a point about 25 meters east of the same junction;
(b) the southern kerbside lane of Ngan O Road from the junction of Ngan O Road and Pui Shing Road to a point about 25 meters east of the same junction;
(c) the western kerbside lane of Pui Shing Road from the junction of Pui Shing Road and the access road to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange to the junction of Pui Shing Road and Ming Shing Street;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of Ming Shing Street from the junction of Ming Shing Street and Pui Shing Road to the junction of Ming Shing Street and the access road to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange;
(e) the access road from Pui Shing Road to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange; and
(f) the northern kerbside lane of access road from Ming Shing Street to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange.
(b) the southern kerbside lane of Ngan O Road from the junction of Ngan O Road and Pui Shing Road to a point about 25 meters east of the same junction;
(c) the western kerbside lane of Pui Shing Road from the junction of Pui Shing Road and the access road to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange to the junction of Pui Shing Road and Ming Shing Street;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of Ming Shing Street from the junction of Ming Shing Street and Pui Shing Road to the junction of Ming Shing Street and the access road to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange;
(e) the access road from Pui Shing Road to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange; and
(f) the northern kerbside lane of access road from Ming Shing Street to Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
