ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN KENNEDY TOWN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 March 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily: —

(a) The southern kerbside lane of Rock Hill Street from a point about 35 metres west of the junction of Belcher's Street with Sands Street to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction;
(b) The eastern kerbside lane of Sands Street from its junction with Belcher's Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
(c) The southern kerbside lane of Belcher's Street from its junction with Sands Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(d) The section of Belcher's Street from its junction with North Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(e) The section of Belcher's Street from its junction with North Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(f) The western kerbside lane of North Street from its junction with Belcher's Street to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
(g) The eastern kerbside lane of North Street from its junction with Belcher's Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction;
(h) The western kerbside lane of North Street from its junction with Belcher's Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
(i) The eastern kerbside lane of North Street from its junction with Belcher's Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
(j) The southern kerbside lane of Belcher's Street from its junction with Smithfield to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(k) The southern kerbside lane of Belcher's Street from its junction with Smithfield to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
(l) The section of Smithfield from its junction with Belcher's Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction;
(m) The southern kerbside lane of Rock Hill Street from its junction with Smithfield to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
(n) The eastern kerbside lane of Smithfield between Rock Hill Street and Forbes Street;
(o) The western kerbside lane of Cadogan Street from its junction with Forbes Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
(p) The southern kerbside lane of Forbes Street from its junction with Cadogan Street to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction; and
(q) The section of Ka Wai Man Road from a point about 190 metres west of its junction with Victoria Road to a point about 275 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: —

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
