Temporary Traffic Arrangement on San Sham Road, Lok Ma Chau

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the construction works for the Development of Lok Ma Chau Loop, the following temporary traffic arrangement will be implemented at San Sham Road from 17 March to 4 April 2025:-


        Road Closure

        (I) San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) Northbound

                (i) A section of slow lane of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) northbound from a point about 600 metres
                     north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to a point about 700 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily
                     closed to all vehicular traffic from 8:00 a.m. on 17 March 2025 to 11:00 p.m. on 18 March 2025;

               (ii) All traffic lanes of the section of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) northbound from a point about 570
                    metres north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to the boundary between Hong Kong and Shenzhen will be temporarily
                     closed to all vehicular traffic from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. of the following day daily on 18 and 19 March 2025; and

              (iii) A section of fast lane of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) northbound from a point about 600 metres
                    north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to a point about 700 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed
                    to all vehicular traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily on any three days during the period from 19 to 23 March 2025.
                

        (II) San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) Southbound

                (i) One traffic lane of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) southbound in the section from a point about 650
                    metres north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to a point about 750 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily
                    closed to all vehicular traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily on any eight days during the period from 20 to 29 March 2025;

               (ii) All traffic lanes of the section of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) southbound from a point about 570
                    metres north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to the boundary between Hong Kong and Shenzhen will be temporarily
                     closed to all vehicular traffic from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. of the following day daily on 24 and 25 March 2025; and

              (iii) A section of slow lane of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) southbound from a point about 650 metres
                    north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to a point about 750 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed
                    to all vehicular traffic from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. of the following day daily on any three days during the period from 25 March to
                    3 April 2025.


        Traffic Diversion

        (I) San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) Northbound

            During full closure of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) northbound, a section of San Sham Road (Flyover of
            cross-boundary passenger vehicles) southbound from a point about 600 metres north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to the
            boundary between Hong Kong and Shenzhen will be temporarily converted from one-way southbound traffic to two-lane-two-way traffic.
            Affected vehicles heading to San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) northbound will be diverted via the aforesaid
            temporary northbound traffic lane.

       (II) San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) Southbound

            During full closure of San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) southbound, a section of San Sham Road (Flyover of
            cross-boundary passenger vehicles) northbound from a point about 600 metres north of its junction with Lok Ma Chau Control Point to the
            boundary between Hong Kong and Shenzhen will be temporarily converted from one-way northbound traffic to two-lane-two-way traffic.
            Affected vehicles heading to San Sham Road (Flyover of cross-boundary passenger vehicles) southbound will be diverted via the aforesaid
            temporary southbound traffic lane.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.


        As it may take longer travelling time than usual in view of the temporary traffic arrangement, the public are advised to allow more time for their
 journeys to/from Lok Ma Chau Control Point and the areas in the vicinity.
