ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
Restricted Zones In Tai Po

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G , I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 14 March 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the western kerbside lane of Ting Kok Road from its junction with Mei Sun lane to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
    2. the eastern kerbside lane of Ting Kok Road from a point about 20 metres south of its junction with On Chee Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
    3. the northern kerbside lane of On Chee Road from its junction with Ting Kok Road to a point about 40 metres east of the same junction;
    4. the section of Ting Kok Road from its junction with On Chee Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction; and
    5. the section of Mei Sun Lane from its junction with Ting Kok Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
