Traffic Notices

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 14 February 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily:

1. the eastern kerbside lane of Lung Ma Road from a point about 50m north of its junction with Hai Wing Road to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction;
2. the eastern kerbside lane of Lung Ma Road from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with Hai Wing Road to its junction with Lung Chun Road;
3. the western kerbside lane of Lung Ma Road from a point about about 50 metres north of its junction with Hai Wing Road to a point about 75 metres south of its junction with Lung Chun Road; and
4. the section of Hai Wing Road from its junction with Lung Ma Road to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction.

          Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
2. loading or unloading goods.

          The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

          At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
