ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON SHA TIN TAU ROAD, SHA TIN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 21 February 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

1. 1. The western kerbside lane of Sha Tin Tau Road northbound from a point about 50 metres south of its junction with the road leading to the public car park on Sha Tin Tau Road westbound to the same junction;
   2. The southern kerbside lane of the road leading to the public car park on Sha Tin Tau Road westbound from its junction with Sha Tin Tau Road to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction;
   3. The northern kerbside lane of the road leading to the public car park on Sha Tin Tau Road eastbound from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Sha Tin Tau Road to the same junction; and
   4. The western kerbside lane of Sha Tin Tau Road northbound from its junction with the road leading to the public car park on Sha Tin Tau Road eastbound to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

1. 1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
   2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
