Traffic Notices

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 10 January 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

• The western kerbside lane of Lai Yiu Street from a point about 3 metres south of its junction with Lai Cho Road to a point about 24 metres south of the same junction;
• The eastern kerbside lane of Lai Yiu Street from its junction with Lai Cho Road to a point about 7 metres south of the same junction; and
• The southern kerbside lane of Lai Cho Road from its junction with Lai Yiu Street to a point about 8 metres east of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• picking up or setting down passengers; or
• loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
