Traffic Notices

    In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 27 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. the northern kerbside lane of Tsing Yin Street from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road to a point about 70 metres east of the same junction;
2. the western kerbside lane of Tsing Yin Street between Ho Pong Street and Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road;
3. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing Yin Street from its junction with Ho Pong Street to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction; and
4. the eastern kerbside lane of Tsing Yin Street from a point about 80 metres north of its junction with Ho Pong Street to its junction with Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road.

   Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
2. loading or unloading goods.

    The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

    At the same time, the restricted zones gazetted in G.N. No. 8342 on 21 November 2003, G.N. No. 6744 on 30 October 2009 and G.N. No. 5093 on 25 August 2023 will be rescinded.
