Traffic Notices
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 13 December 2024, the eastern kerbside lane of Castle Peak Road – Lam Tei southbound from a point about 135 metres south of its junction with Shun Tat Street to a point about 200 metres south of the same junction (excluding the layby) will be designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the restricted zone gazetted on 29 November 2019 under G.N. No. 7780 will be rescinded.
