ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN SHA TIN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 22 November 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

- the northern kerbside lane of Lok Shun Path from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with Lok Shun Path Roundabout to the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Tsun King Road from its junction with Lok Shun Path Roundabout to its junction with Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Roundabout;
- the northern kerbside lane of Tai Po Road - Sha Tin from its junction with Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Roundabout to its junction with Tai Po Road - Ma Liu Shui;
- the northern kerbside lane of Tai Po Road - Ma Liu Shui from its junction with Tai Po Road - Sha Tin to its junction with Tai Po Road - Ma Liu Shui Roundabout; and
- the southern kerbside lane of Kau To Shan Road from its junction with Tai Po Road - Ma Liu Shui Roundabout to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
