ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN SHA TIN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 15 November 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the northern kerbside lane of Lok Lam Road eastbound from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Tsung Tau Ha Road to a point about 65 metres east of the same junction;
(b) the southern kerbside lane of Lok Lin Path from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with Lok Lam Road westbound to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(c) the western kerbside lane of Lok Lin Path from a point about 40 metres south of its junction with Lok Lam Road northbound to a point about 5 metres north of the same junction;
(d) the western kerbside lane of Chap Wai Kon Street northbound from a point about 45 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road connecting 14E Temporary Nursery and Chap Wai Kon Street northbound to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction;
(e) the section of the unnamed access road connecting 14E Temporary Nursery and Chap Wai Kon Street northbound between 14E Temporary Nursery and its junction with Chap Wai Kon Street northbound;
(f) the eastern kerbside lane of Ngan Shing Street southbound from a point about 45 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road connecting Lam Tai Fai College and Ngan Shing Street southbound to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
(g) the section of the unnamed access road connecting Lam Tai Fai College and Ngan Shing Street southbound between Lam Tai Fai College and its junction with Ngan Shing Street southbound;
(h) the northern kerbside lane of Tak Yi Street eastbound from a point about 45 metres west of its junction with Tak Yi Street southbound to the same junction;
(i) the southern kerbside lane of Tak Yi Street westbound from its junction with the unnamed access road connecting Sunshine Grove and Tak Yi Street westbound to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction; and
(j) the western kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Sunshine Grove and Tak Yi Street westbound between Sunshine Grove and its junction with Tak Yi Street westbound.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by road markings.
