ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN TAI WAI

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 October 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. The western kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Chung Ling Road Car Park and Chung Ling Road from a point about 25 metres south of its junction with Chung Ling Road to the same junction;
    2. The southern kerbside lane of Chung Ling Road from its junction with the unnamed access road connecting Chung Ling Road Car Park and Chung Ling Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
    3. The eastern kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Chung Ling Road Car Park and Chung Ling Road from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with Chung Ling Road to the same junction; and
    4. The southern kerbside lane of Chung Ling Road from its junction with the unnamed access road connecting Chung Ling Road Car Park and Chung Ling Road to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
