ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones In Tai Po

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 14 June 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the section of Dai Shun Street from its eastern junction with Dai Fu Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
    2. the northern kerbside lane of Dai Fu Street from a point about 25 metres west of its eastern junction with Dai Shun Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
    3. the southern kerbside lane of Dai Fu Street from a point about 30 metres west of its eastern junction with Dai Shun Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
    4. the section of the unnamed access road leading to Kee Wah Group Limited from its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;
    5. the eastern kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 70 metres north of its junction with Dai Fu Street to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
    6. the western kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 35 metres north of its junction with Dai Fu Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
    7. the section of Dai Fu Street from its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;
    8. the section of Dai Li Street from its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
    9. the western kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Dai Li Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction;
    10. the eastern kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Dai Li Street to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
    11. the section of Dai Pang Street from its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;
    12. the northern kerbside lane of the exit road of Tai Po Industrial Estate Bus Terminus from its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
    13. the western kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from its junction with Dai Pang Street to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;
    14. the eastern kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 35 metres north of its junction with Dai Pang Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;
    15. the eastern kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Dai Cheong Street to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction;
    16. the western kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Dai Cheong Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
    17. the western kerbside lane of Dai Kwai Street from a point about 35 metres south of its junction with Dai Cheong Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
    18. the section of Dai Cheong Street from a point about 25 metres west of its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction; and
    19. the section of Dai Cheong Street from a point about 65 metres west of its junction with Dai Kwai Street to a point about 100 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
