ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374 SUB. LEG. G)
Restricted Zones on Sha Tau Kok Road – Ma Mei Ha, North District

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 3 July 2023, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  1. the northern kerbside lane of Sha Tau Kok Road – Ma Mei Ha from a point about 96 metres north of its junction with Ping Che Road to a point about 122 metres north of the same junction; and
  2. the southern kerbside lane of Sha Tau Kok Road – Ma Mei Ha from a point 107 metres north of its junction with Ping Che Road to a point about 131 metres north of the same junction.

          Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
  2. loading or unloading goods.

          The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
