ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374)

Temporary Speed Limit on Hiram's Highway, Sai Kung

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 3 January 2020 to 10.00 am on 30 June 2020, the section of Hiram's Highway southbound from a point about 180 metres north of its junction with its slip road leading to Clear Water Bay Road eastbound to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
