Introduction of Kowloon Public Light Bus (Scheduled) Service Route No. 86
Cruise Terminal to Kowloon Bay (Telford Gardens) (Circular)
Members of the public are advised that, a new Kowloon Public Light Bus (Scheduled) Service Route No. 86 (Cruise Terminal to Kowloon Bay (Telford Gardens) (Circular)) will be operated between the Cruise Terminal at Kai Tak and Kowloon Bay MTR Station. The service details of which are as follows :
Route
Departure from Cruise Terminal will travel via Shing Fung Road, Shing Cheong Road, Cheung Yip Road, Wang Chiu Road, Sheung Yee Road, Wai Yip Street, Telford flyover, unnamed road, Telford flyover, Wai Yip Street, Kai Cheung Road, Wang Chiu Road, Cheung Yip Street, Shing Cheong Road and Shing Fung Road.
Operating hour and headway
- (i) On 21 September (Saturday) and 22 September (Sunday) 2013
To facilitate the Cruise Holiday Expo to be held in Cruise Terminal, the service will be operated from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm with headway around 15-30 minutes. Headway will be adjusted subject to demand.
- (ii) With effect from 23 September 2013 (Monday)
The service will be operated daily from 7.00 am to 7.30 pm. In the initial period, the headway of the route will be around 15-30 minutes, service hour and headway will be adjusted subject to demand.
Fare
$5.0 per single journey
The following groups of passengers will be offered concessionary fare of $3.0 per single journey:
- (i) Senior citizens aged 65 or above;
- (ii) Students holding valid student identity card; and
- (iii) Passengers holding valid Registration Card for Persons with Disabilities issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau
Notices will be put up by the Green Minibus operator at the terminals and inside compartments to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
