Opening hours of Lok Ma Chau adjusted
The Transport Department reminds drivers of cross-boundary goods vehicles that owing to the low volume of cross-boundary traffic anticipated during Lunar New Year period, the opening hours of the Lok Ma Chau Control Point from February 4 (Lunar New Year Eve) to February 13, 2000 will be adjusted as follows:

| February 4, 2000 | Close at 10 pm |
| February 5 to 13, 2000 | Open daily from 7 am to 10 pm |
| February 14, 2000 | Open at 7 am and resume 24-hour operation |
Jointly adopted by both the Hong Kong and Shenzhen authorities, the above arrangements were also implemented in previous years.
