Vehicle Parking Vehicle Parking As at end of 2008, there were about 30,600 designated on-street parking spaces in the territory, with parking meters provided at about 17,900 of the spaces. All the parking meters were operated with the Octopus card. TD operated 14 multi-storey car parks providing a total of about 7,600 parking spaces. In addition, TD operated the Lantau Link View Point Car Park (Open Air) and Sheung Shui Park-and-Ride Car Park (Open Air), which had a total capacity of some 300 parking spaces. The above parking services were managed by three contractors selected through public tenders.
