ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Kweilin Street and Tai Nan Street, Sham Shui Po


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 a.m. on 8 April 2025, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:


(a)    the
western kerbside lane of Kweilin Street from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Tai Nan Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;

(b)    the
eastern kerbside lane of Kweilin Street from a point about 23 metres north of its junction with Tai Nan Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;

(c)    the northern kerbside lane of Tai Nan Street from a point about 12 metres east of its junction with Kweilin Street to a point about 17 metres west of the same junction; and

(d)    the southern kerbside lane of Tai Nan Street from a point about 12 metres east of its junction with Kweilin Street to a point about 13 metres west of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
